Youth Enrichment Programs

The Youth Enrichment Program services children and youth aged birth-to-young adulthood. The Expanded Core Curriculum – consisting of daily living skills, recreation/leisure skills, social skills, career education, assistive technology, orientation and mobility, and self-determination skills — drives the programming decisions.

Past activities have included art, cooking, rock climbing, kayaking, zip-lining, drama, ukulele playing, and numerous family-centered outings such as: hiking, family picnics, and snow tubing.

All planned activities encourage the philosophy of challenge by choice in order to encourage each participant to step out of his/her comfort zone.
