Plant Manager

VisionCorps, a values driven organization, has an exciting employment opportunity for a full time Plant Manager of Food Operations in our Lebanon facility.

The individual applying for this position must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in food manufacturing and 2+ years’ experience managing a team.  Forklift operating experience is a must.  Product launch and startup of new food line skills preferred as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Food Operations responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day manufacturing operations of VisionCorps’ food plant
  • Increase efficiencies through continual process improvements
  • Able to fill in for key plant functions
  • Investigate, remediate and assist to resolve open CARs
  • Analyze equipment for repairs and improvements as needed
  • Analyze historical data to better predict and forecast future product line trends
  • Monitor KPI’s for inefficiencies in the lines
  • Make sure all plants are audit ready at any time
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to bring manufacturing of our food product as efficiently as possible
  • Increase the number of blind individuals employed
  • Coordinate the periodization and subsequent reprioritization of costing efforts
  • Meet deadlines on long term projects and reoccurring assignments
  • Budget development and oversight
  • Work autonomously or within a team environment
  • Commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse work environment
  • Ability to objectively evaluate situations from varying perspectives
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, change ready environment
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities within a team environment

Supervisory responsibilities:

  • Foster growth and identify opportunities for advancement for employees
  • Complete bimonthly one on one coaching sessions and annual reviews
  • Communicates job expectations via 1:1 coaching meetings and position profiles
  • Reviews and approves electronic time sheets in a timely manner
  • Provides staff with information related to upcoming training opportunities
  • Conducts annual review meeting and recommendations for final incentive opportunities
  • Ensures that staff have the needed materials to complete their duties successfully
