Low Vision Expo – Chester County

VisionCorps will host a Low Vision Expo in Chester County, Thursday, May 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Expo, held at Downingtown Methodist Church, 751 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, will include exhibitors from organizations serving the community, vendors demonstrating helpful low vision products, and more.
Attendees will have the opportunity to test smart glasses technology, designed to help people with certain visual impairments see better. Featured technology will include IrisVision, a wearable low vision aid allowing people with conditions such as macular degeneration to see clearly in all aspects of daily life.
Technology experts and rehabilitation staff from VisionCorps will also be available to answer questions from attendees regarding the use of low vision specific technology.
