Case Management

VisionCorps provides a full range of inclusive services and it all begins with case management. A member of our team meets with each new client in order to assess and determine vision-related goals. Services are offered to each client on an individualized basis and family members are invited to participate.

This collaborative process assures that individual needs are met, and that clients and their families are comfortable with the plan of service being provided. When appropriate, VisionCorps’ case managers facilitate adjustment to blindness education and peer-to-peer support groups for clients who are struggling to adjust with their visual impairment. Other services offered include information and referral to other local and national services available, client and disability advocacy, and individual and group counseling.
