Youth Enrichment Programs

The Youth Enrichment Program services children and youth aged birth-to-young adulthood. The Expanded Core Curriculum – consisting of daily living skills, recreation/leisure skills, social skills, career education, assistive technology, orientation and mobility, and self-determination skills — drives the programming decisions.

Past activities have included art, cooking, rock climbing, kayaking, zip-lining, horse riding, scuba diving, and numerous family-centered outings such as: hiking, family picnics, Easter egg hunts, and snow tubing.

All planned activities are designed to challenge and empower participants in everyday situations, with the goal of creating independence and confidence now and later in life.
